Dems who say that this surrender was some 5D chess play should be reminded that is what people say to defend Trump too. They are not galaxy-brained they are cult leaders, one of Trumpism, the other is Neoliberalism.

They both depend on tribalism to blind their supporters of their own lies.

This is some real piss in my pocket and tell me it’s raining energy. Dems shit the bed and he tells us to neither β€œcelebrate or sulk” when the general consensus seems to be anger. Anger at cowardice in leadership. The kind he is showing himself to be with his framing of these events. Primary anyone?

The U.S. Supreme Court was given the wrong numbers. The β€œunwind” in the event of a negative decision on Tariffs, would be, including investments made, to be made, and return of funds, in excess of 3 Trillion Dollars. It would not be possible to ever make up for that kind of a β€œdrubbing.” That would truly become an insurmountable National Security Event, and devastating to the future of our Country - Possibly non-sustainable!

Today the Supreme Court granted review in an important case for the outcome of the 2026 elections. At stake is the fate of tens or even hundreds of thousands of mail-in ballots. No one is covering this as completely as Democracy Docket. Please support its work by subscribing today. hubs.ly/Q03M8rql0

Another potential benefit for @schumer.senate.gov from his surrendering is the potential for going independent in response. This would abandon the party apparatus to the control of Wall Street neoliberals which is exactly what his donors want.

'A Slap in the Face': Federal Employees Feel Betrayed by Democrats' Shutdown Cave "I would rather be an actual pawn. At least pawn sacrifices are calculated and achieve something."

I heard from a bunch of federal employees last night and this morning. They aren't happy.

"I would rather be an actual pawn. At least pawn sacrifices are calculated and achieve something. All this for a fucking meaningless vote."

The copium I'm seeing from pundits trying to claim maybe yesterday was actually a "genius move" or some shit. No, y'all. The erosion of trust over this betrayal all by itself is devastating to a degree that cannot be outweighed by "we get another swing at it in Jan."

Parties that do not want to come off as colonizers allow their candidates flexibility to work for their district, not the party donors.

What Dem leaders did today was party donors over voters.

We need leaders to fight the broligarchy and defend democracy in as many districts as possible.

Between the 2A shift and the progressive mirroring the district they would be well positioned to sweep up unexpected seats despite the gerrymandering.

The simple fact is I would rather our leaders respect the wishes of their constituents than have both parties subservient to the donor class. (8/9)

If they build their maps based on the stagnant nature of the calcified neoliberal leadership and suddenly some of those variables go out the window so does everything they built on it.

I believe we will win in the end the debate over choice but we need democracy to have that conversation. (7/9)

Should some pro worker candidates in deep red districts be able abstain from pro choice legislation in an effort to better reflect the districts wishes things could change. Some red districts that’s the deal breaker and such a shift could fuck with all the gerrymandering Republicans are doing. (6/9)

Rebuilding Healthcare: The Path From Collective Bargaining, to Subsides, to Single Payer
YouTube video by World Economic Federation Rebuilding Healthcare: The Path From Collective Bargaining, to Subsides, to Single Payer

The Universal Healthcare would include mental health care as well because one should invest in such things to preserve the 2A. (5/9)

That would also create the precedent that preservation of understood rights is reason for expenditure. This can be applied many places I would argue such as life (healthcare) liberty (UBI) and the pursuit of happiness (safe retirement) (4/9)

As 2A is a right IMO the subsidies are a necessary investment to preserve 2A rights federally while respecting a communities differing firearms needs.

It’s a bad look to scream fascism while trying to take guns away. Rs already tried to take the 2A from members of the LGBTQ+ community. (3/9)

10.11.2025 14:58 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Different communities have different firearms needs. Cities should be able to have as strict regulations as they want. They (Feds) should subsidize vehicle safes that can prevent access in the city boundaries. (2/9)

Dem Leaders: Vote for us we are all that’s defending democracy! Our country is at risk of falling to fascism.

Also Dem Leaders: We need to do organize to take your guns.

Trump is undermining 2A. If Dem leaders wanted to wipe the floor with him they would approach 2A with nuance and defend it.(1/9)

I believe this platform can provide the vehicle to help elect progressives in red districts to then challenge the Neoliberal establishment by winning races in districts neoliberals never could:

@schumer.senate.gov gets ratiod on his capitulation post which he ironically ended with the claim β€œwe will keep fighting” which is a impressive swagger in the final breath of his surrender.

The only thing he fights against is the will of Democratic voters. All he fights for are donors.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Just follow the AIPAC dollars. If they are willing to whitewash a genocide and vote to provide the bombs to do it they will do anything for a large enough donor check. The depravity knows no bottom with such people. They are paid to interfere with progressives not fascists, just follow the money.

The Democratic leaders need to be replaced the best way to do that IMO is to adopt a pro worker rights platform that can have flexibility by district while being internally consistent:

Don’t forget that the same mutual aid networks and systems could be the foundation of a populist political movement against the neoliberal consensus that is failing everyone but the .1%. Chuck had to arrange a surrender before it became a sustained system.

I agree, our Dem leadership has betrayed us to the donor class again. All Dems are complicit who do not support the removal of @schumer.senate.gov as minority leader.

Democrats, the call is coming from inside the house, er Senate.

He really does think we are stupid. Vote all AIPAC out. It seems that the most common trait of fascists and their enablers is AIPAC backing. If you are willing to whitewash a genocide for $ you will kill your own constituents for the Benjamins.
