I can't stand the president either, but this is journalism. They have and will continue reporting on that... what's wrong with them reporting on other countries?
I am 100% interested!
Lol
That I agree on. People love to blame Obama, but in my opinion, he was the only true leader I have seen in my lifetime. I didn't love everything. However, he was fought by Congress constantly. Ironically, now we have a president who ignores congressional power, and our congressmen allow it. Scary.
Not trying to seem rude, just being honest. It's not illegal not to vote, and progressive change has been ignored by Clinton era democrats for so long that people are giving up. That's a problem. Now we have this fascist because anyone the party didn't like had zero chance. We can agree to disagree.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda had everyone vote blue, but that clearly didn't work. Blaming them is what made them angry and either vote 3rd party or not at all; it never changed anything but caused discourse. Let's be real here. The idea is to vote for electible candidates in the primary that will win.
If we want to win the next election, we need to stop the finger game now. Who's fault is it that Trump is in office? Ignorance and misled supporters make up the majority, and far right fascist lunatics the rest. Not every Democrat is good, either; leading to the party issues we have now.
I voted for Harris, a lot of good that did. It doesn't matter now. If you want support, you have to appeal to the party. You can't just expect to win on the lessor of two evils. Biden should have stepped away sooner, and there should have been a primary. This happened and here we are.
The issue is that our party is not unified and they stab each others backs. We could have avoided this mess, but they pushed Clinton over Bernie. The people didn't want that, but they dragged his name through the mud. The same rhetoric they used on him, he's a commie, Trump adopted against them.
You mean, the working class...
To me, in history, that's how he should be remembered. He held one of the most important offices, and instead of doing what was right, he turned his back. I feel the same way about the democrats that haven't stood up while members in their party do.
I meant cant* stand him, I'm aware. McConnell essentially fucked us all and now that he has practically no power he's fighting his party but it's too late. Fuck him.
Not even polio could put the guy down. Ironically, as much as I can stand him, he's the only outspoken republican. Absolutely bonkers world we live in.
