The average USian doesn't understand money, logistics, or foreign affairs. Most have not travelled outside of their containment zones but are told their precious opinion is worth gold. The least the media and governments can do is provide them with actual digestible information.
A big mistake has been to refer to aid by estimated equipment value, instead of "$2.5 billion" it should have been "x amount of artillery rounds, ammo, used \ to be disposed of vehicles".
Pragmatism and general knowledge would have been beneficial instead of capitalist jargon.
Nobody gets rich off of Social Security. Most people like me are barely subsisting on the program,. But it has helped from keeping us homeless and penniless. We paid every single cent into the program! It’s OUR money.
