Very much so. Just learned of a healthy fit teenager getting Long COVID and know quite a few endurance athletes who had to give up their jobs because of it. All of them vaccinated, almost almost all of them with 'mild' omicron and all from a 'mild' initial infection.

I wish Long COVID prevention is considered more often when evaluating antiviral effectiveness, funding and prescribing them. There are a few studies that show that they lower the chances of devloping Long COVID.

This will be spectacularly ratioed. Also note the US hand coming from the left. In visual communication, the good people come from the left. They know that.

For people with Long COVID (and covid cautious people in general), the lack of mask mandates in healthcare is a big accessibility issue. Many of us have started to avoid health care if there is a chance we would have to unmask for a procedure or have to stay overnight.
