Finding musicians that always say "yes" is a challenge.

I played in a defuncted jam band and I always wanted us to jam into a 4 chord progression. We never accomplished it. I tried to force it on stage once but it never happened. F#m>D>A>E was the attempt. It ultimately broke up the band. LOL!

It all started in a Cincy studio w/ Clyde doing his thang. Then bass and guitar. JB loved it and said, "Let's make a song out of that." It was just a groove and that's how most of JB's tunes were created.

Your favorite band is most likely due to the drummer. Followed up by the connection the drummer has with the bassist. Everyone else in the band is just adding to that foundation.

We got robbed that Terry Kath's life was cut short. I can't imagine what his solo career would have been like.

This was a place in Broad Ripple Indianapolis where I got to see @goldlikejoel.bsky.social and @umphreys.com play, a few times. It was awesome. A smaller venue that would book all the right gigs and boy do I miss it.

These were in constant rotation during 96-98ish. Like all the time. Constant. No joke.
