A good follow-up question would be,'Which book is your favourite?'
Saying that, I suspect her answer would be along the lines of 'they're all very good'. Sigh.

There's a great animation series on Netflix called Love, Death & Robots. Within it are a couple of sub 10 minute episodes about 3 Robots touring a post humanity earth. It's very insightful & there's a lovely Mars related twist at the end.

"Vote for me & you will never have to vote again."
They were warned.
They still voted for him.
You can't fix stupid.
Wasn't that what Brexit was supposed to do?
I don't think it's just about deportations.
Next step; freeports, which will need hundreds of thousands of drones with no rights to work in them for minimal wages & ridiculous hours.
Don't like it? You're fired, no questions.
It goes much deeper.
Fortunately (financially, anyway), I get offered them every year (I'm 64).
Usually very quiet in the docs but absolutely rammed this morning. Only a 10 min wait, but some had been there for quite a bit longer.
Not only that, by taking away their rights, it would also take away ours.
Or is that part of the plan?
Immigration is a very easy lever to pull on to stir up a reaction. Particularly if you are trying to deflect from what you are really doing...

01.10.2025 13:46 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I watched the documentary last week & was a bit alarmed that Mone is the only case that HMRC is actively investigating. There were some on there (many I hadn't heard of) with even bigger contracts who seem to be untouchable when genuine suppliers (e.g. ARCO) had to bypass the govt completely.

"Yes, I'd go with the majority,"
Before I had a chance to add "if you were Jewish?" he came back with; "I'm not interested in politics."
Holy shit!!!
You've pretty much nailed it there, Dee. This isn't about us, it's about them & all those that follow.

28.09.2025 09:26 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And that truly is worrying, Brian. We haven't had a real Labour government since 1979 (Blair was a tory in a red tie) & this lot care little for the working class. The 70s weren't perfect & the unions were running riot, but Thatcher just wanted to burn it all down. The swing was massive.
