Still not sure how this guy became police chief given the history.

4/7 Advocates argue this crisis follows a deliberate pattern of undercutting the public system.

They point to a series of government decisions:

👉 a new funding model,

👉 refusing to reopen shuttered operating rooms at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, &

👉 passing Bill 55 to allow private operators.

2/7 A newly obtained letter reveals that Edmonton surgical hospitalists' contracts will terminate at the end of this month.

Without a new agreement, these critical doctors are legally bound to stop working on April 1, halting the surgical pipeline.

IT can’t happen soon enough.

I wasn't aware of that change. Based on the ratio (ie 3 " increase vs 1" on oven mitt) I'm guessing the size of the base is a significantly bigger change. Thanks for the information and conversation.
