It is true that many scenes and styles are still quite neglected now (which is why I used to cover African music singles for 3 years), but man, if there's a scene that would be incredible to read more about, it's Jam Bands. Publications just stopped covering them after the 90s.

Music has not gotten worse, we literally have great songs come out every single day. But it's an Overload. And that overload is probably what makes fewer and fewer songs from this decade *feel* like classics,, or even feel like "the next best thing".
