I wanna host team game nights and Pilates classes so people can make new friends. The only thing the people will cover is the cost of materials/venue. I don’t really wanna make any money from this.

For my dance parties, ladies and dolls will be in free for the first 90 minutes of the event and men will be $5, idc. We need to get back to our roots. After that, $10 for everyone.

It’s getting expensive to party and dancing is scientifically proven to put you in a better mood. The world is in need of more joy so I think I’m gonna start planning events by the top of the year.

I am very lucky to surround myself with women (including my sisters and cousins) who pour into me, cheer for me, and can check me lovingly. I do prefer to see those dynamics in my books.

Part 3 of the book was beautifully done. The poetry was engaging.

I did think it was ambitious, following 5 Black women and jumping back in the past or future randomly to tell their stories. Each voice was unique but these women did not speak to each other either warmth. In fact, the sisters hate each other.
