Interesting that I have an email that was never (as far as I know) connected to substack. Then the notifications and articles started appearing. I had to create an account just to turn off the ability for people to subscribe me to things on a platform I didn't want. Odd.

We were seeing a 98% drop in exposure over on Twitter. The censorship was so extreme we thought it best to start over somewhere else. We chose Bluesky.

I am at the point that if an actual SCAdian or other person tries to friend me, but is good looking, my age, and has a dog, I will likely block them "just in case".

"Chop wood; carry water." I have done a lot of both, but some days it is hard, for reasons I do not I understand. I chop the wood, but just don't want to carry the water. I know how to carry the water. It is within my abilities. Then I just can't. Why is that?

Why does so much available luggage advertise itself as "meets carry on requirements" but then measure *just* out of carry on requirements? Doesn't that set us up to get unlucky on some trips?

Today is my first day of vacation, and I am exhausted. The to-do list is long and motivation is low, but we will start with just one thing. You all stay safe out there and rest up!

Don't you have a young person at home to train you? Or too young?

Has anyone considered making an SCA starter pack? Some of the people posting their handles isn't working well. Is there any reason not to do that?
