My guess is China will continue to use a strategy of sustained coercion against Taiwan.
China's economy is likely too fragile for a global war in 2026. Taiwan's dominance in advanced semiconductors also raises US stakes & means a war would cripple the global economy, including Chinaβs tech sector.
"Covid fractured supply chains. The Ukraine war weaponized energy and finance. Iran now pressures energy chokepoints and alliance structures simultaneously."

The UK government is slashing climate aid to developing countries to reallocate funds toward defense & rising domestic costs.
It has essentially decided that global ecological stability is a luxury it can no longer afford.
An inevitable response of a society running out of surplus energy & money.
If you think we are living in a wild west world, this is nothing compared to what #climate breakdown is set to bring
Nasty little wars, even nastier big wars, biblical migration, civil strife, plummeting food supplies and clean water availability, and ever more extreme weather

Unverified reports claim Iranian strikes hit the US Embassy in Kuwait City amid escalating US-Iran tensions, with smoke rising from the area and no official casualty details yet.
An F-15 crash occurred nearby
A US F-15 fighter jet crashed west of Al Jahra, Kuwait, with both pilots ejecting safely and recovered by Kuwaitis on the ground. The cause remains unclear. Iranian outlet Tasnim claimed Iran shot the jet down, while a higher likelyhood seems friendly fire. One pilot sustained minor injuries. #Iran

Grasslands are vanishing nearly four times faster than forests according to a new study. Grasslands are far more than just "green spaces". Around 20 to 35% of the carbon sequestered worldwide is stored in these ecosystems. Around 33% of global biodiversity hotspots are located in grassland regions.
