I made a wok stir fry (nothing fancy) for dinner last night & I swear about halfway through my prep I thought, "I'll bet Patrick's eggplant would blow this out of the water 😂" and "i wish transporter technology existed so I could taste some"!

His dusky patch on his nose always reminds me of the chimney sweeps from Mary Poppins! 😂

I had a "boombox"(ish-wasn't *that* big) but never hoisted it on my shoulder to play it so... I get 1/2 a point? 🤷‍♀️ Everything else, though...

I saw the picture before the caption & my brain went to "spy movie villain" first. 😬

My husband & I are watching! It's sooo good!!

Counselor, I submit that the only reason you should have gotten out of bed should be to feed these precious, starving babies. Although I'm also fairly certain that the Baked Potato (being a cousin of the food persuasion himself) & Big "Lean"y could live on love alone. Case closed. Stay in bed.

I've gotten it a few times & it's... fine? 🤷‍♀️ Very thick, though & didn't really integrate into my coffee so I don't know how much of the protein I actually got. (And with the recent reports abt there being lead in protein powders, esp non dairy ones... I'm probably going to pass from here on out.)

I was thinking stained glass but embroidered is much closer! So gorgeous 💖

My 12 yo daughter is so irritated with 67 bc its mostly the "annoying boys" who are obsessed. I had a convo w/her that stressed *her* out bc I think its brilliantly absurd & used the word "pure" in bc truly *doesn't* mean anything & she just kept saying, something that stupid can't be pure! 🤣

Oy... well, I do think it was posted at our local theaters as pg13 bc I wasn't the only one 🤷‍♀️

I actually don't remember when I finally saw it. It may have been yrs later bc if you remember, those were the days that you had to wait at least 6 mnths after a movie left theaters before it hit rentals. I may have seen it in a $1 theater the next year... but by then, everyone else had seen it 🤦‍♀️

Best friend who was like an older brother... he would quote the movie & say, oh, right, you haven't seen it yet, have you. Too bad you're too young. 🤨

I wonder! I think it might have been reclassified, at least in my town bc it's a foundational memory that it was PG13 & I wasn't 13 yet. I remember my mom pointing out the rating on a nearby theater once. One of my best friends was a year older & he lorded it over me that he'd seen it several times.

Tiny point of fact... it was actually one of (if not the actual) first movies to be PG-13. How am I so certain? I was 12 in 1984 when it came out & I wasn't allowed go see it in the theater bc I wasn't 13 yet. 🤦‍♀️

A friend of mine has a next door neighbor who partakes in his garage. His elderly mom keeps complaining to the neighbors about the skunk that won't leave their garage alone 😂

I was raised by non-morning people... they've been married 58 yrs now & have often said they key to their happy marriage is that they don't talk to each other before 10am. (Or anyone else if they can help it.)

Don't know for sure obviously, but we've discussed pointing a camera at our stove to make sure knobs are turned off when we're out of the house. (Especially since we do have cats that jump up on it.) So that seems plausible to me. Also, picture looks zoomed in so camera could be further away.

My crazy-cat-girl daughter was firmly on the "good girl!" side of things except when I pointed out... what if you didn't have cameras or thought to check them? 😬🤢 Although we agree, what a smart cat to realize "hot boiling pot on stove is food" together with "let's add my kill to the feast"!

The thing about that line is that it's *supposed* to be cringe. Unfortunately too many only saw "McConaughey" & took it as aspirational, not cautionary 🤦‍♀️
