The Levanthria series by A P Beswick are good. There are 6 books in the main series (starting with A Forest of Vanity and Valour). The 1st 4 books focus on different characters and the last 2 are the end story.

I read Gild by Raven Kennedy a couple of weeks ago - been on my mind since so the rest of the series had moved up my TBR list. Glint was read in one day and currently on Gleam….

One Dark Window/Two Twisted Crowns are a pair of fantasy romance (a little spice in each but emphasis on romance). It’s a fantasy gothic setting and the magic system is from a set of 13 cards, each with a different power with a cost for use. Very well done.

Same - loved them both so much - loved the cards and magic. It was a journey I didn’t know I needed!

20 days into 2025 and of the books I’ve read so far I’ve got three 5🌟 - Quicksilver by Callie Hart and the Shepherd King duology by Rachel Gillig (One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns)

I second this for sure - it’s just 2 books - One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns - but I read it hem both back to back and wish I could read them for the first time again

Went straight on my list to get as I’ve just finished the Shepherd King books and fell in love with them.

I got out of a reading slump at the end of 2024 thanks to a friend lending me the ACOTAR series - so my goal for 2025 is to read more. 15 days into Jan and I’m 5 books down. My TBR is huge as I turn into a book goblin in charity shops so a culling is also in order!

So having found Epic the Musical, I am reading the Stephen Fry Greek series, received a copy of The Iliad for my birthday, and am getting The Odyssey for Christmas. I’ve also been listening to Troy’s and Steven R’s music on Spotify. Loving it all
