die Frage selbst geklärt: ja, ist so -

Eindrucksvoll, die Engländer lassen sich doch nochmal ganz andere Konstruktionen einfallen.Ist das ein Vierungsdurchgang vom südlichen ins nördliche Querhaus ?

der Text, ich möchte es gern glauben . . .

Das besonders schöne an diesem Katzenbild ist für mich, daß ich weiß, Minka darf auch mal raus, darf Mausen gehn und wonach ihr sonst noch ist. Bei den vielen Bildern, die ich in einer Woche anschaue und wo eine Katze am Fenster sitzt und hinausschaut, ist das nur selten der Fall.

Manch einem kommt vielleicht auch der Spruch in den Sinn:
Auf diese Steine
können Sie bauen !

Das kennt man sonst nur von sakralen, nicht von profanen Bauten.

schön viel Sonne auf der Nordseite !

Nun ja, ein Ochsenauge ist auch eine Art Fenster (schon in der Antike,in Romanik,Gotik,Barock bis Jugendstil . . .).
Interessant, daß der Putz nicht völlig verbergen kann, daß da früher auch eine Tür und ein gewöhnliches Fenster war. Bei ganz schräg/flach einfallendem Licht noch besser zu erkennen.

Once more I remark,
that by black or dark colored cats I'm not sure what their facial expression looks like.
