People are always looking for the secret to the universe. The secret is there is no secret; it's all just a fascinating, complicated mess.

Maybe your computer keeps asking if you’re a robot because it’s just looking for a friend? You ever think about that? No, of course not, because you only think about yourself. Typical human.

Btw, the reason all these rich guys are having to turn to AI assistants to run their lives is that they don't realise how reliant their predecessors were on the invisible labour of women.

Turkey, Spinach and Ricotta Lasagne

Serves: 2-3
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients: avocado oil, 1 small onion (chopped finely) 2-3 garlic cloves (chopped finely), 100g frozen spinach, 1 free-range egg (beaten), 5000g turkey mince, 100g ricotta, 200g lasagne sheets, 300ml tomato pasta sauce, 50g grated cheese, sea salt and black pepper

1. Begin to heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan on a low heat.

2. Add the avocado oil to a frying pan on high heat and cook the onions until translucent.

3. Next, add the garlic for 2 minutes and then add 5000g of turkey mince.

4. Next, ask yourself if the preceding instructions sound right. They don't, do they? 5000g of turkey mince is insane. And why are you cooking the sauce first? And do you really think you can make lasagne in 30 minutes? That's ridiculous. These are clearly not helpful instructions so why have you been following them?

5. Have you always been someone who blindly follows instructions from people who claim to know what they're doing? Do you think this stems from the relationship you had with one or both of your parents? Do you have a history of subjugating yourself to people you view as authority figures?

Recommendation: Forget about making lasagne and work on your assertiveness instead. You are your own person but you're letting other people control your life. Make lasagne later. Start making the new you now.

Self-help books are popular. Cookbooks are popular. So if I can combine the two, I will undoubtedly become the most successful author of all-time. Here's my first recipe

It gets lost in all of this nonsense every time, but it is worth pointing out that it's not illegal to use any toilet you like. Toilets aren't legally restricted places and never have been, for very obvious reasons. This whole thing is based on an absurd fiction about who can and can't go where.

The most popular comment on a model's video says "and just like that my hunger is gone.
Thank you."
And suddenly I am back in summer 2006 where we were all taught skinny was the only kind of beautiful that counted, where the more nothing you could make yourself, the more worthy you were in existence. Your body should be non existent, the newspapers told us. Don't you dare take up space, you don't deserve it. We listened, because we assumed this was just the legacy of girlhood - to make yourself as small as possible.
If there is anything I wish I could tell us back then, all young hopeful teenagers and strawberry lipgloss it is that hungry girls become hungry women who make a meal of their dreams to stay alive.
Do not deny yourself the delights of this life.
Instead make a feast of all that you are given.
The love, the joy, the grief, the fury and become women of appetite. Women of want as much as need.
- Nikita Gill

Never forget that Mamdani went into the White House and called Trump a fascist to his face and it made Trump so frightened of him he grinned like a buffoon and played nice through the entire press session.

Star Trek Voyager scene. Seven of Nine (tertiary adjunct of unimatrix 01) is pictured. She has a dolphin shaped metal robotic implant around her left eye because she is a borgs. Closed caption reads, "Fun will now commence."

Daniel Brühl as Heinz Wittmer in Eden (2024) Behind the scenes pictures from imdb. There are cuts (make-up) on his arms to look like he has been hard at clearing and building. He wears a shirt with several buttons undone and rolled up sleeves. Shirtless Daniel Brühl as Heinz. There are cuts visible on his forearms. Daniel Brühl as Heinz aims a rifle. Cuts visible on his knuckles. Daniel Brühl as Heinz. He wearing a shirt with rolled up sleeves and several buttons undone. He holds a stick he has been sharpening. Cuts visible on his forearms.

Blood (make-up), sweat, and tears.
Bit of dirt and grime. Perfecto.

Daniel Brühl as Heinz Wittmer in Eden ( 2024). He hauls a rope shirtless. We see his back covered in scars. More of the same... He's neck and shoulders are so red. Wear sunscreen babes.

I watch for the plot 🩷📽

A young boy in a pink dress, holding a whip, from the early 19th century.

Gender and meaning changes over time: pink was once a boy's color and tied to red, for passion and energy. Blue belonged to girls, as it was calming; during the last century the colors flipped. White was the color of babies and color came in at age six. #FolkloreSunday

An image of Zemo from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
He's saying „Leben Sie wohl, James.“

A definition of the term is inset into the image.

„Leben Sie wohl“ is used as a formal farewell when it is unlikely that the people are going to see each other again or when they even plan to never see each other again. It's rather sad. You wouldn't use it to say goodbye to a friend's friend (that you met at their birthday party) that you assume you will never meet again, but you would use the informal „Leb wohl“ for example after breaking up with someone and deciding that you won't talk anymore. Does that make sense to you?

Started thinking too hard about „Leben Sie wohl, James.“ and got up in my feelings about it
