Y’know, the power of charts is a joke in my comic, but I listen to some arguments?

I really do think some visual aids would make a difference.

Heck, a blown up bullet point list could clarify a lot. “What are we even—Oh, right. We’ve got a list handy.”

(An owl bullet point is for a relevant person to be aware of 🦉)

I decided step one of correcting my blunder was to double check everything related to it, and now I actually do have a journal entry I can refer to for it. I even have sources—comics—cited.

Also, say what you like about emoji, but they work well as very visual bullet points 🦉

Must've been something to do with DNS connections. I assume there's a bit of bouncing around getting from Australia to Moperville. Either way, glad it's working!

"Hi there, Dan, hello, I'm your social media manager. We need to downplay this big ol' mistake you've made and make it sound like it's not your fault. Now, what have you said so far?"

I said I made a blunderous blunder so bad it threatened reality itself.

"...I quit."

I don't have such a thing for the comic, usually just easily remembering the important things and referring back to old comics as necessary.

As today demonstrates, however, that isn't always reliable. I apologize for this blunderous blunder.

I will explain the error in detail in a future commentary, but it may be a while as explaining it would be a spoiler unto itself.

This is the part where I contemplate keeping a journal of all the many details about absolutely everything.

Next story page Friday due to a blunderous writing blunder of blunderous proportions, the blunderosity so extreme as to threaten the very fabric of reality itself.

Which is to say I’m now rewriting a whole lot to avoid a glaring continuity error I was about to unwittingly introduce.

It was less specifically a content warning and more one of many points brought up in an introduction to the book series and ways it differed from the show (which was, ultimately, praise).

“I specifically want these features in one game,” Tim said before elaborating, effectively making a five point checklist of exactly what he wanted.

“Oh, you mean Goggle Blort?” Goggle Blort was, by many accounts, a fine game.

A fine game that checked only one point on the five point checklist.

Wait, "I was approved"? Did I mean "prepared"? The heck did I manage that???

There were seven books—The Inspector Barnaby series—all of which I *think* were adapted into episodes with quite a number of changes in the adaptations (beyond Troy being dialed back a bit, I mean).

I was approved for SOME disapproving of Troy's comments, yes 😅

In fairness, never did I think that Troy's attitudes were being presented as "correct." If anything, I got the impression of the book essentially pointing at him and saying "look at this jerk being a jerk," and providing major contrast with the more accepting, and clearly wiser, Barnaby.

STILL.

John Nettles during an audiobook introduction, paraphrased: "Be warned, dear listener, that Gavin Troy's character was softened for the Midsomer Murders TV series."

Oh, how bad could his book counterpart be?

"They released a breath they didn't know they were holding" might be cliche, but I believe it is the phrasing that makes it so. I've listened to books in which the same idea is conveyed, but is expressed far more eloquently, and with elaboration. I imagine this applies to many cliche phrases.

The only issue with my two sided, standing dry erase board is it only has two sides.

Your sentence suggests this was a preexisting leaf blower, and not one just replicated, which raises the question of what in space you were doing with it so close to the replicator.

I could have sworn there was an anime premiering today that was on my radar, but for the life of me I can’t think what it was.

I think I might have confused the release date for the second season of Campfire Cooking in Another World With my Absurd Skill, but that doesn’t feel right 🤷‍♀️

To elaborate, they’re unable to intimidate these voices with their presence, or shout, or any number of things that would feel appropriate.

Which, perhaps uncomfortably, I assume most people can relate to. Not necessarily “oh no, I can’t bully them”, but not knowing how to handle frustrating text.

I think there are a lot of insecure bullies out there who are not prepared to handle unfiltered, often anonymous feedback from the internet.

Of course those who grew up without internet, but given how much of that behavior may well be egged on by instinct, I don’t thing younger people are immune.

This question will be addressed.

For now, I propose a question: Would you trust an unsupervised automated turret to protect a suburban home without issue?
