Every once in awhile I think about this Nancy comic and it makes me laugh every single time. Absolute perfection.

I'm also trying to convince the normies outside of werewolf world, which would be way easier if social media didn't require a constant daily grind 😭

I'm already mad that I have to go out of my way to post on all these social medias to get a crumb of acknowledgement from these stupid algorithms. I know it's not a meritocracy, but I feel like a sleeper agent. Like I'm peddling underground werewolves in back alleys to The Ones Who Know, creep style

If you told me pre-pandemic when I was really grinding my ass off to post on Twitter, sometimes a hundred times a day, to get the engagement needed to move the needle on my follower count even a little, that all that would be for naught because it'd become this, I'd have been so freaking pissed lol

The format is pure engagement bait. Usually it's a sob story or relationship drama, and the sentences are weird and choppy. "He didn't shout. He didn't argue. He was just done." kind of phrasing shows up in almost all of them. Then the comments are all going on about how you need to value yourself.

I still check Twitter pretty often, but mostly from my alt account that I don't post on to see what's up over there and what the algorithm is doing. Facebook has gotten overrun with AI for sure, but Twitter has gotten it BAD. Every other post is just a rehash of the same AI cadence with AI responses

I forgot to say it earlier, but thanks to everyone who came along with me on this little Vincent/Elias side story journey. Sorry it's not as werewolfy as the main story, and it didn't devolve into anyone ripping their clothes off, but hopefully everyone enjoyed it regardless lol

Me inking on a wall as part of the Cheltenham paint festival a few years ago which I’m hoping is back on this year. It’s a street art festival where the public can walk around town and see the artists make art in real time! I used Posca pens and I think it took about 12 hours

I did detour a bit because I had to check on Mama in the garage before bed, and I found her in her rare hiding spot where I can see her face, so I hunt out and made slow blinky eye contact for awhile. She did not blink back, but she looked calm at least. She's getting fixed on the 3rd! Hooray!

Everyone be proud of me! I shut down my computer for the night before finishing my work because it was bedtime, and it took me no time to get ready for bed because I'd already started doing my routine hours earlier. I'm trying to work on all the stuff that keeps me from sleeping.

She has such an excessive amount of swag that it can't help but make you inspired. Just someone strongly, confidently believing in themselves.

(and I do know the neighbor who owns the dog well enough that opening the door to call inside to see who was home is fine. I don't generally recommend it, obviously)

I imagine he forgot the dog was outside and had his headphones on. The door was unlocked, so I called into the house, but he didn't hear me until I was leaving and the dog was barking again. C'est la vie. I solved the neighborhood problem. Texting is a great invention, frankly.

My next door neighbor texted me, because there's a dog down the block who's been barking since early evening, and her friend down the street couldn't sleep, worried for this dog. So I got up, found the dog, gave it treats, and got the attention of the teenage son who was home alone and gaming lol

A lot of them here are also filled with a syringe instead, but my local bakery does them as little sandwiches. I think it's so you can add more filling, and it's maybe less work idk

I always assumed the plural was paczki! Now I know! But I did know it wasn't paczkis at least lol
