The discussion reaffirmed the urgent need to build a people-centric, inclusive, and development-oriented information society.

Held on 8 July in Geneva, Switzerland, the Forum presented its demands under the #DigitalJusticeNow campaign to the co-facilitators and organizers of the WSIS+20 review process, key stakeholders from the UN, civil society, and national governments.

On Day 2 of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS)+20 High-Level Event 2025, IT for Change, the Global Digital Justice Forum, and the @apc.org organized a session titled, 'Centering People and Planet in the WSIS+20 and Beyond.'
