NASP modulates histone turnover to drive PARP inhibitor resistance - Nature PARP inhibitor treatment triggers histone release from the chromatin in cancer cells; consequently, targeting the histone chaperone NASP renders cells vulnerable to PARP inhibition.

A new study in @lancetrh-europe.bsky.social finds that survival rates for most AYA cancer survivors match those of their peers within just four years of diagnosis.

The findings support calls to revise the rules around the ‘Right to be Forgotten’ for cancer survivors.
