With the evident failure of the Luxon experiment, I hope the National Party, the media, and the general public might give some thought to the qualities needed in a leader.
I found the media excitement about Luxon entering politics baffling and nothing he has done since has changed my view.

Unreal! we are an island nation that has to import all its fuel, even putting aside the enviromental aspects, a government with any long term thinking would realise that bringing in inefficiant, dirty vehicles is bad for our energy resiliance
