Our 5th Internal Progress Colloquium is coming to an end! Two days full of scientific interactions. Honoured to have with us Caroline Müller (Bielefeld University) and @apoetsch.bsky.social! Our ECRs have progressed enormously and this makes us so happy!

Together with @ceplas.bsky.social we are planing a panel discussion in German about the applications of plant research in withstanding climate change at the "Haus der Universität" in Düsseldorf. Students, citizen scientists and all interested people are welcome to attend!
Last week, our latest @biorxivpreprint.bsky.social preprint was released, a joint-venture of @antonkraege.bsky.social & @wolki95.bsky.social and co-directed by @nicksnelders.bsky.social a 🧵
Wonderful! Congratulations Miltos!

This year we are celebrating the International Day for Biological Diversity with two amazing lectures! If you are located close to Cologne,Germany join us!
So asked 24 junior/senior students in a writing class about the largest document they ever wrote and 80% have never written anything >5 pages. And they have only done it 2-3x in their life. Had a whole discussion of how writing helps the author. I think we might have a major problem.
Great meeting for PhDs and Master students to meet peers and share your love and passion for science at a truly beautiful venue. Make sure to Mark your calendar.
How do I integrate #gender and #diversity dimensions into the planning and implementation of #research projects and third-party funding applications?
The workshop will show the extent to which gender aspects can be integrated in research processes!

Thank you for giving a wonderful talk and interacting with our researchers Seema! Best wishes and greetings from Germany!
#CologneSpringMeeting2025 was nice small conference. I presented there our fresh results about Arabidopsis lyrata adaptation to serpentine soil and the convergence with Arabidopsis arenosa.
That’s a wrap on the Cologne Spring Meeting 2025! A huge thanks to all participants, speakers, and organizers for making this event a wonderful success. Stay tuned for more news and discoveries from TRR341 and the world of plant science. #CologneSpringMeeting2025 #PlantScience #TRR341 #DFG
