My game is pretty small and niche and I was also finishing a Kickstarter campaign, I didn't put has much time and effort into Nextfest has I would have wanted, but I still learned a lot and I'm happy with my result. Got bumped from around 200 wishlist to 600. Next time we'll do better !

All caught up with the additions. We're at 114 spots filled of the maximum 150 for starter packs!

In case I didn't know it already, this has really driven home how many great game devs we have up here in Canada.

There's a place for realistic looking games for sure, but i've always been annoyed that out of anything we can do with games, making "real life" seems like the biggest focus. I want cartoony, colorful games! Wind Waker comes to mind.

Reminds me of when my cousins and I would create some super weird items in Diablo 2 back in the day. One of the reason I got more interested in how games work.

I can't be the only one who, when completely lost in projects, my desktop just looks like this.... I hate it, and yet I don't do anything about it. Just waiting for the project to be over to clean it all up :D

At a certain angle, it kinda looks like a weird reversed egg. Love the effect though! Could definitely see this in some sort of weird alien, sci-fi game, screw normal and straight UI elements! :D
