I think it's for the same reason that they don't use the strap in schools; it isn't effective, and instead, it is harmful. These athletes are in really good shape and to bag skake them just depletes energy. The hockey players of the past were not in good shape

Of course, I use spreadsheets to analyze and look for errors, but I haven't even automated those spreadsheets. It's in creating the error checking formulas, and looking at what comes up is how I see trends, entries in the wrong accounts, or find problems in the CRM interaction.

Great thread ending with this, but the interesting thing is that I was just having this same thought about bookkeeping/accounting. The accounting programs are putting AI into many of the tasks and even reporting. I don't use those. I look at the data. That's how I find things.

I could use transit more but I like to be outside. I walk almost everywhere, even in winter.
Because I've done it for years, I can carry 20 pounds of food in a backpack when I walk home from Old Strathcona market (45 minutes). Essentially, the fitness trend of rucking is also known as my life😀.

Based on car insurance at $125 to $150 a month (asked friends). Parking is extra at my building (I prefer it that way) & is $150 a month. $50 per month fuel & repairs?
Seems clear to me. However, I acknowledge that this is a lifestyle choice I made years ago for many reasons

So my 2024 total was under $500. In 2025, I've had appointments where I have chosen a car (for convenience). As a result I will probably end up at around $1,200 including about $300 in airport trips (again so far).
What would car ownership cost? Rough estimate? $4,200 /year without any capital cost

I have a spreadsheet that tracks all of my transportation spending. I'm like Madeleine; I live without a car. I track my transit, cab, & Communauto spending. Last year I spent under $800 total & that included cabs to & from the airport. Probably would've cabbed that even if I owned a car
