I slept through all my alarms today and the dogs let me sleep until 8:30 😱 I’m so discombobulated I feel like I should just quit the rest of the day and go back to bed.

No. They’ll say there is but in a “the wife is in charge of the kids and household” way, which just means it’s her job to cook, clean and raise the kids.

It’s the culture as a general. They are taught that they are head of the household and wives are to be basically subservient and seen and not heard. It’s like the quintessential “trad wife” thing and so when these women step out of those “roles” the guys don’t know how to deal.
