I had really hoped 2026 would've been different. That maybe... Just maybe this could have been the year I get better and learn to draw properly.

The point of is that I'm tired of it all. The struggling. The failing. The inability to do even the simplest thing I see so many other artists do with such ease.

I've never been able to "sketch for fun" or "doodle something random". I've always had to struggle to draw anything at all.

I love drawing. I love creating. I love sharing ideas with you all. I don't work as an artist, and don't do it out of necessity. I don't even make money on it.

And the fact that I just... can't... when I want to do nothing more is agonizing. And I've tried everything i could think of to fix me.

I know there are people out there that say things about me that I "see-saw", or "do this every year", or some other way to downplay it or make it seem like it's just "one of T-Kay's moodswings".

But the fact is I'm always struggling with this. I just try really hard to keep it to myself.

Not only did I continue to struggle drawing, it worsened. I would go weeks, months even, trying to get myself to draw only to get absolutely nothing done.

If you've ever had the experience of wanting to do something so badly but haven't being able to even manage it, you know that kind of agony.

2025 was a hard year for me. I had finally returned to the internet after disappearing at the end of 2022 because of severe depression and feeling like a complete failure as an artist.

My goal was simple. Draw more, and become a better artist.

But that fell through pretty quickly for me.
