What’s driving the rise in Section 166 reviews in consumer investments? Section 166 reviews are becoming more common, not just in the consumer space but across the board.

Rather than waiting for things to go wrong and launching enforcement actions, section 166s can be used as a tool by the FCA to step in earlier.

FCA to lift ban on offering crypto ETNs to retail investors The Financial Conduct Authority is proposing to lift the ban on offering crypto exchange traded notes (cETNs) to retail investors.

The regulator said financial promotion rules would apply so consumers get information on the risks and would not be offered inappropriate incentives to invest, in the same way as if they bought cryptoassets directly.

Not sure why I bothered chewing through the leather straps today:
- Despite repeat emails to a PR, had no idea when I got my train where a meeting scheduled 1st thing would be held.
- Lost all my credit cards & my 1997 Boots card
- Ran platform length; dress ran up length of leg, exposing shorts.

If you wanted the pension system to invest £50bn more in the economy, wouldnt it be far easier for the government to achieve that through the LGPS, rather than through default DC funds? Or am I missing something really obvious?
