NS had a similar issue and some of their new trains have an outdated paint scheme. Surely procurement can think of a contract that allows changing of colors and carpet designs till they're actually needed

I will say I have a router/WAP from Mikrotik and a standalone WAP from both Mikrotik and Ubiquiti. Ubiquiti just works, Mikrotik gives you all the control. The wifi 6 situation for Mikrotik is a bit of a mess though - wifiwave2 CAPsMAN doesn't seem compatible with non-wifi 6 devices
