Ah right, the big issue for TGB is where it's G1 instead of GA I'm guessing then.
GI2 seems to be same as GIC2 which seems to mostly describe the bottom rather than the top.
I built a tool last night to be able to "search/filter" for compatibility. Interestingly large swatches of the high speed network in Italy are not GB compatible but have GA and GI2. I can't find much about GI2 online and cross compatibility. If you filter for GB in Italy you get this:
