this section of a totem style lamp base sculpture shows a little humanoid figure perched casually on the edge of a fish carcass eye hole. plants have grown up around him. the section above resembles a round bellied vase with holes that sprout dried green hydrangeas. and below the fish carcass is a dry stone wall. everything is created from unglazed white stoneware clay. it’s a little bit gritty. all my work tells tales of an optimistic post-human future where life evolves through cooperation and affection, where success is an irrelevant concept and experiences of love in all its forms is everything.
