started listening to a podcast i found on twitter ➡ made vast networks of friends, visited the beautiful city of chicago, began creating one of my most personally important bodies of work. i believe in the infinite good that can come about via social media when it isn't a cesspool run by tyrants

As much as folks might not want to believe it, artists who sell their work cannot survive exclusively on platforms that cater to primarily other artists. The Circulating The Same Five Dollars™️ model can't feed us or pay bills for long. We need places where we can be seen and discovered.

i thought it might work with the ocular drone but TURNS OUT if that happens to you unilaterally you don't just lose vision in one eye. you lose vision in one *half* of both eyes which is bizarre to think about

alternative to this is i take out half or all of her occipital lobe and shove the deck in there. i think this would render cortically blind though and i know this is neo-shadowrun and i can kind of do what i want but i'm hesitant to handwave it away just by saying the deck makes up for it

It'll never be lost on me that a particular subset of the liberal commentariat in both North America and Western Europe were deeply infatuated with this woman up until the very moment she decided to talk about that one issue you're still basically not allowed to talk about lol.
