Psychologically, thatβs massive as well. Winning in that manner, so late in the game, will have been an absolute killer for Man City, who no doubt will have been following along before their match tonight.
Important to stress that whilst the 10 point lead is impressive, there exists a level of falseness over it. Man City still hold 9 points over Arsenal, with two games in hand and the Etihad match to come. But they need to win all those matches. Lose to West Ham tonight, and the game shifts massively.
Massive. Massive for Arsenal. Massive for the title race. Arsenal have a 10 (Ten) point lead (for now). They go double figures clear for the first time this season. That will be an absolute sickener for Man City, to win it that late, and now all the pressure is on them against West Ham.
