also a friend of one of our group who we have all recently met joined us for the game and she hadn't played vtm before but at one point she was able to do a roll that was 11 !!! dice

another PC had an eventful night
every rouse check failed so after healing their arm that an antagonist broke, was at hunger 5
fed on a couple of people to bring that back down to 1 but they were drunk so this PC got wasted and later on decided that the one that broke their arm was their new friend

so chaos gremlin decided that by the end of the game, that damn lemur is getting loose!!!
and it was such a fun running thing throughout while all this other shit was happening

one of the PCs only fed on animals and the location of the story would have made that hard to do and I didn't want to fuck that player over
so I had a roll table with a 10% chance of an animal being on the yacht and of course it was

ran that game on Sunday and it got so chaotic ahaha
one of my players is a bit of a chaos gremlin especially for one shots
still worked towards advancing the story, but added some chaos

games i've run in the past i've had to be On the entire time because there wasn't much intercharacter rp but this group? when they started interacting with each other and bringing each other into scenes ..... ahhhh so nice to be able to sit back and observe

i have run a game of it on roll20 for them and they had a lot of fun so it's time to up the difficulty for them: actually having to count out your dice instead of clicking a button and everything being done for you

genuinely not a problem, i have a oneshot that was mostly done at that point that i was planning on running soon for them anyway
guess it'll be in person too
i've done so much extra shit for it this past week

last sunday after our fortnightly d&d game we were talking about what to do in the off weeks (our dm wants to be able to PLAY things sometimes which i 100% understand) and someone was like "ok next sunday we're gonna do an irl vampire the masquerade game"

getting weirdly into xmas this year but on MY terms
terrifier 3 shirt so i have a santa related shirt
bought some tunnels for my ears that have spooky/creepy xmas dangles
found a goth elf on the shelf that i bloodied up to use as a prop at work
bought a santa hat and bloodied and dirtied it up

yeah no surprises for who won this season of dragula ahah
the moment final 3 was confirmed i knew who would win

and then grabbed it by the front of its harness and dragged it, continued to berate it
i wanted to say something but idk it being a service dog makes me feel like i cant?
but also, if you're treating the dog like that how can you expect it to be able to help you when you need it

lady came on the bus with a service dog, she had a pram with her and went to the spot with the lift up seats, dog instantly went under the seats and she put the pram in and the dog was in the way and she was just yelling at it to move (no room for the dog to move because of where the pram was)

it's fiiine i have a couple of weeks before i would be running it so i have plenty of time to do a bunch of unnecessary shit

had an idea for an xmas oneshot for cyberpunk and i've planned out the story beats and general concepts and now i have to flesh it out further
so instead i'm starting to work on soundscapes

hope this doesn't cause me to do that thing where i decide to start doing it myself and spend thousands of dollars on materials for it only to actually do it for maybe two months total and never do it again

oh no i've spent all of yesterday afternoon and now today watching a shitton of dice making videos

and the prompts don't help either, can't think of how to respond to those
