Seems like there’s a lot of lurking on Bluesky but less posting. Or I just need to really tune my feed.

Upgrading my iPhone right now and Blue Sky reloaded quickly to my new phone, but the other app did not! Maybe it’s a sign.

I am checking Bluesky out again, haven’t posted here in over a year but sounds like folks have migrated over in droves!

I feel like my generation experienced Peak Internet and we’re now on a downward trend.

Google Search sucks. You can’t trust Amazon ratings. Twitter & Reddit are at war with their users. Every useful news site is paywalled and every garbage one is free.

Turns out 2010s were the good old days.

Bluesky might need to launch rate limiting to rate limit all the Twitter users coming here to escape rate limiting.

Rate limits are annoying. Especially in something you pay for.

I pay for ChatGPT Plus and regularly hit the rate limit there too.

People are mad if their main issue was sidelined by Biden. I heard this from a friend who claimed Biden didn't do enough to protect abortion rights and should have used an executive order to protect them.

I said "the other side will happily take away the rights you still have even in Blue States".

Agree. I think of all the Heads of State, he probably has the most legitimate reason for getting the message out there for the Ukrainian people without having to be filtered through news media.

So I stopped using the staging site and using the real one. Is there any real difference? Am I not on the latest code?

Any good custom feeds you have found? Are they shareable yet?

Haven’t really been posting or using Bsky heavily due to a social media break. Is this feeds thing new? Any new features I should be aware of?

Reminder: You are no longer on Twitter and there’s no need to subject your followers to updates on Elon Musk’s latest racist shenanigans.

If people wanted to stay up to date on those, we’d have stayed on Twitter.
