when asked about why Animate is being shut down, Adobe replied:
"... well y'see Animate has been very useful but it's so OLD now so we're taking it behind a shed and shooting it dead like a decrepit dog."

So Adobe are killing Flash for good. I guess it’s on us then, to stay noisy about this, if we ever hope to open our project files for the foreseeable future. (1)

the biggest trap as an animator is you'll sit there rewatching your own 3 second animated clip for hours at a time bc hehe funny picture is moving!!!!!
