We are the laughingstock of the world because of our moronic and psychotic president. Deservedly so.
BREAKING: The Department of Education has ended its directive that attempted to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in schools nationwide.
This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.
Across the country, the freedom to read is under attack.
Books are being removed from shelves, librarians are being targeted, and students are losing access to materials that reflect their lives and expand their understanding of the world.

It's great to live in a country (Canada, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, etc.) where citizens don't worry about if the next election will be canceled, if they will be allowed to register to vote, if they will have to stand in line for hours to vote, or if their vote will be counted.

There are so many fucked up things with the current administration that it's hard to focus on one but this recent move is basically a death sentence for the planet. I've been involved with more boots on the ground actions over the years than I can count and this really bums me out.
Good that the grand jury rejected this obviously illegal move to indict sitting Senators for making true statements. But horrifying that the government tried. The DOJ has been fully corrupted into a Trump propaganda arm. It will have to be rebuilt from the ground up
