My winter work uniform is long-sleeved tee, cardigan (w/pockets), and jeans. Warmer weather, tops are short-sleeved or tanks and the jeans are swapped for skirts (w/pockets), or I just wear a longer dress (w/pockets).

turns out lacking the most basic thing in life, a consistent place to sleep where your shit is not being constantly stolen nor raided by 3rd party actors, makes you go fucking insane. it destroys you. it makes you want to die. you losing your glasses becomes a reason to throw yourself in the street.
mutual aid can't fix this, only the state can. and it's a criminal act, class war, that basic housing is non-existent for those without the means (physical, mental, or otherwise) to make it happen for themselves. they become street detritus instead and we all suffer for it.
a simple example of this comes from within my own chapter, where an unhoused member routinely has mental episodes from being unhoused (he gets his shit stolen, his shitty temp job fucks him over, he gets stuck two states away with no ticket back, etc) that get him repeatedly stuck in a hospital

Gave the custodian a chance to check up on his favorite part of the building. He's a sweetheart, so the worst part was the sweltering classroom, which I'd already gone back to once to get my glasses, water bottle, & pen I forgot when the faucet thing happened.

I ended my work day hunting down the head custodian to check on a faucet for a lab sink where a hyperkinetic freshman had fiddled loose the faucet and sent water everywhere. He did mop most of it up, and it seemed put together, but I got out at least twice as late as usual.

Protein is so tricky for me, because I eat more flexitarian out of necessity (overcooked meat hits me third-hardest, after creatine and GI bugs). So much Greek yogurt, so many RX Bars. I generally shoot for 200-calorie chunks, mostly bc that's also fast eating on break at school.
