Thankfully it has gotten easier.
I just gotta figure out how to get 2 none steam games to work.

The irony of it all is that I doubt any other state would have let me even try these types of meds for weightloss in the first place...which makes this hurt all the more that what was once given is being taken away.

Honestly I am more pressured to lose weight in time for the surgery so odds are I will go on a more extreme lower calorie diet. I already been limiting myself to around 1200 calories a day, no sugary drinks, less processed foods and more lean meats ect. so into starvation I gotta push. Thanks CA!

Dumbest part is they didn't send letters out till a day ago to give a 2 month heads up. After 2 months on the med and working on my diet ect I finally started losing...and now I get to throw my body for a loop.

I'm deciding between building up from a fresh install of Arch, Bazzite, or Garuda. Currently leaning towards Garuda.
I wont ever switch to 11 because Microsoft lost my trust with such a strong push to invade privacy. I'd rather make the switch to Mac.

Bonus
The irony is that me not being covered for this med will most likely cost the state more money spent on me requiring other medications for a longer period. Prolonged therapy and a longer time on medi-cal rather than what woulda been a few months before being able to work. Now years.

I am also looking into the possibility of suing the state if the regular hearing process fails since medi-cal doesn't typically cover weightloss surgeries in my weight range.
This has left me in a horrid unsupported grey area where i'm not heavy enough for surgery but too heavy for other surgeries.

As a result of this change I may need to come up with weight loss surgery funds out of pocket somehow or figure out how to afford nearly $1000 a month for the medication.

As a result I plan to push forward with a hearing in hopes of retaining the medication since it was the last resort.

I have tried many ways of losing weight over the past couple years from working out, diet, and other drugs. Throughout I been slowly gaining instead. Since starting the GLP-1 I actually began losing weight setting me on track for surgery in a few months.

The Californian government silently dropped GLP-1's from the medi-cal budget for 2026.

As a result of this a revision to a surgery that went bad will most likely end up canceled. Leaving me in a disabling state.

I tried so many different ways at the time and none seemed to work so I gave in lol. It's the last bit of money microsoft has gotten from me. Been getting into linux and honestly nearly everything I care about works on linux. But I gotta get a few games and programs to run.
I'm not guna get win11.

I been playing around with linux distros and I think I found one I like. Now I need to actually install it and see if I can get wine to run the small handful of none native programs I want to use.

Sometimes you could miss the notification and the system might perform its update while you're in the middle of something like rendering a 3d scene that was 6hours in and only half done.

I ended up upgrading to pro specifically to avoid that...again.
Pro lets you actually disable auto updates.

I can finally be a mad scientist no matter the job!

I had planned to do a test stream tonight as a surprise but a day ago my partners and I ended up in a car wreck. We are a bit shaken, in pain, and various bits of sore, but alive. However it put a damper on plans for the next week.

Figured id share a picture of all the games I've cataloged. All neatly inside of a couple plastic bins...at least for now till I figure out a better way to store them.

Feels odd since it has been a decade since the last time I cataloged them and it certainly grown.

I gotta start rummaging around the closet to find my old win7 install disc. The things I do in order to play old games in their native environments XD
If only the DRM for CD PC games still worked on Win10.

My retro/physical game collection is largely cataloged now. The only things not entirely cataloged yet is handhelds including Switch games.

So far totaling 269 games ^.^

With the help of a friend we got my PS1 collection cataloged! Figured I'd share the current catalog thus far.

My goal is to slowly work my way through my entire catalog on stream. I have more games but these are complete lists for these consoles.

My return to streaming is delayed slightly. Partially for having gotten sick, still cataloging my games and getting space ready, and a twinge of laziness.

I'm also commissioning some art for the stream and slowly updating bits of my vtuber model though largely staying the same. Fullbody tracking 😜

WHY IS DEMODULATION SO HARD! Never thought connecting an Atari 7800 to a Retrotink would result in me needing to buy a whole freaking VCR as the easy option.
The lack of demodulator choices online is astounding.

Went from the first to the second.

While the super glitchy looked neat.
I think I like the second more cus ya, easier to read and also works for readers.

A few other writers suggested I create a CSS style that does some weirdness on the backend to have the text read proper.

But that seemed like a lot for a very rarely used effect.

So i went the lazy route lol

I originally planned to have some glitchy text in a story I’m writing but thankfully one of my betareaders pointed out that they suck for screenreaders.

I quickly replaced them with simple strikethrough text but till then I didnt think of it.

Now its always on my mind.

Call your reps and demand they protect LGBT rights, especially transgender rights to exist, get HRT, access bathrooms, and play in sports. For Adults and kids.

If they go we all go.
