What does a school custodial worker and a millionaire have in common? AFT, AFL-CIO and Patriotic Millionaires came together to support the Working Americans' Tax Cut Act. Workers deserve a real tax break that puts money in their pockets. Money that can be spent back into our economy.

Two of our members, Carl and Ashley, joined Senators Van Hollen, Kelly, Rep Beyer and myself to call on Congress to pass the Working Americans' Tax Cut Act, which would benefit more than half of working Americans. We don't need bandaids like "no tax on tips," we need relief for working families.

There has always been the concept that if you work hard and play by the rules, you'll be ok. There's not just an affordability crisis, but also in terms of not having enough money in your pockets. We need a tax code that benefits workers, not just millionaires and billionaires
