As mayor, I’ll keep supporting innovators, start-ups, and local businesses by cutting red tape, modernizing city services, and making Edmonton a city that leads β€” not follows β€” in new ideas and technology.

This framework is uses the Calls to Action as a roadmap
to advance reconciliation, equity, and healing within the community through tangible actions and commitments.

Let us all walk this path of reconciliation with humility, compassion, and a shared commitment to striving for a better tomorrow.

Today we honour the residential school survivors and the children who were never returned home.

It’s about recognizing reconciliation is about healing, family and coming together and community. Recognizing the past and working towards meaningful change.

Today I spent my morning with Bent Arrow listening and learning. The theme for today is A Time to Listen. It is critical that we all take time to listen as it allows us to better understand the past. It also helps us learn and grow.

Andrew Knack: Edmontonians' needs will come first in every decision You need the mayor to address shrinking affordability, homelessness, safety concerns, access to housing and responsible city budgets.

β€œThis election is about choosing a mayor who will be honest with you about these challenges, and who has a real plan to address them. We cannot afford magical thinking.”

Since 2011, infrastructure funding has decreased by nearly 60% β€” leaving cities to pick up the bill while more responsibilities are downloaded onto us.

As Mayor, I will always work collaboratively with the province, but never at the cost of a bad deal for Edmonton.

If the province truly wants to support Edmontonians and reduce municipal taxes, one clear way would be to restore the funding that has been cut.

Edmontonians - we all feel the weight of rising costs.

Yesterday, the province released a mandate letter that included exploring and recommending ways to limit municipal tax increases.
