Thank you, that's beautiful to hear.
Not that I'm aware of. I had just been posting about how I am not on here much at present due to not feeling well and having a lot of writing to do. So it's more me not wanting to miss out if something good happens.
Be sure to text me if it happens.
Getting some rest after a rough stretch (that isn't quite over) and also working on some things, so not spending much time on here. Health-wise, I have more tests this week and yet another specialist in my future (which of course means another month+ of waiting). Boooooo!
I wonder if there was any way for them to foresee it would happen?
In my latest, I talk with my friend Joselyn about the federal charges against her that were dropped yesterday, today’s guilty verdict for multiple Prairieland defendants, and what’s at stake when the definition of conspiracy is stretched and distorted to ensnare activists.
McGowan: You're saying 46 Americans died, so we should attack this country. Here at home, 68,000 Americans die a year because they don't have health insurance. So, if we're going to spend billions of dollars on something…
The latest White House thinking on the Strait of Hormuz.
"I ASSUMED the US Military had an active plan to open the Strait." How can people who are paid to understand geopolitics be so bafflingly naive?
The SAVE America Act is a voter suppression scam. It would take away the rights of working people to make their voices heard at the ballot box.
The Senate must reject this bill.
Let there be as much outrage from politicians in Washington when kids go hungry as there is when I break bread with New Yorkers.
Can’t believe nobody wanted to read the articles nobody bothered to write

A few weeks ago, I cautioned about prioritizing the voices of exiles over those of people who still live in a country. Some people took issue. I didn't say not to listen to exiles, I said do not privilege their voices.
This is a miraculous use of the passive voice.
She's a really good person, and I really respect the integrity she's shown throughout this. She has never tried to make herself seem less radical or tried to distance herself from other criminalized people, including the Prairieland folks.
I'll be interviewing Jocelyn about what's she's learned from this experience for my newsletter soon.
Every time one of these "inventive" cases fails, it is a major victory for our movements and our communities. From the Broadview 6 to the Prairieland Defendants, we cannot afford to see any of these creative prosecutions succeed.
My friend Jocelyn, one of the Broadview 6, saw her charges dropped today. It was such great news, but her first thoughts were about people who are still facing charges here in Chicago and in Texas for resisting ICE, and of course, the many people who are still being held in detention.
Israel is an Apartheid state that is continuing to genocide people while also displacing millions around the world. Evil.
Wow I can really see why it’s so important to stay on twitter

“This technology disrupts humanities-trained — largely Democratic — voters, and makes their economic power less. And increases the economic power of vocationally trained, working-class, often male, working-class voters,” Palantir CEO Alex Karp said in a CNBC interview Thursday.
