v0.5 of my #Rust #bioinformatics crate to create/query suffix arrays includes multi-threaded search. with 12 CPUs, I can load 3GB human genome into memory in 38s, find 1M 15-mers in 1.5s w/max memory use of 23G. Low-mem search using disk access takes 82s w/3.5G RAM. crates.io/crates/sufr
