Just finished up a session of the #Pragmata demo and this game fucking RIPS. The overlay of 3rd person shooter and little hacking minigame is so cool and really elevates the moment-to-moment of combat. Visuals are really giving that Vanquish/2010s Sega vibe.

Played through "Crowded. Followed." by @nightdivestudios.bsky.social last week and holy hell, what an experience. AWESOME concept for a horror game, executed with finesse, doesn't overstay its welcome. Never thought I'd feel so creeped out in such a crowded place. Strong horror recommend from me ๐

Recently I've played through Bloodborne, Hollow Knight, Silksong, Cronos, Hylics, and Hylics 2 - now I'm gearing up for Silent Hill f, Hades, Lords of the Fallen, Ghost of Yotei...autumn gaming is OUT OF CONTROL
Literally Bilewater and Sinner's Road are the two areas in that game that I NEVER want to go back to ๐ญ
The core team size of Team Cherry is small, but for Silksong I believe they worked with quite a few contractors to help with programming, testing, etc. So, the size of the development team that made the game is more like a few dozen (just using the in-game credits for reference)
I won't spoil it here, but I've just learned of a BIG secret in Silksong regarding the ending, and I'm just so excited to go check it out. Thought I finished most of what the game has to offer, turns out I was dead wrong. Love this game ๐ชก

I'm curious to know which ending you got? I feel like mine was the "you didn't do anything special" kind of straightforward, default ending
This I agree with - having to return to a bench to switch crests and charms might not be a necessary restriction. Some enemies feel best countered by specific crests, and you can't just run back to a bench every time you encounter them. Would honestly love to be able to hotswap crests via the D-pad!
(2/2) I actually found myself going back to the diagonal pogo as my preferred option, because I had learned to leverage it more effectively. I have a feeling this was Team Cherry's intent: start you off with a fresh new option with a stronger skill ceiling, then later let you revert if you want to
(1/2) Funny thing is, I don't think that was the design philosophy at all - the straight-down pogo isn't necessarily an upgrade over the diagonal pogo. It's more accessible and straightforward to use, but it lacks the starting pogo's lateral reach. By the time I unlocked the downward pogo,

Currently 16 hours into Silksong and I have to say, every single aspect of this game's combat is absolutely goated. Enemies are nimble, intelligent, and aggressive, and Hornet's toolkit is a 10/10. Tons more to go into later today but suffice to say I am having a BLAST with this game ๐ชก
