This is a much more respectful way of voicing this perspective than anyone else on this thread so thank you. I just did not think the nastiness directed at the OP by others was necessary or helpful which is why I felt the need to say something.

Flight out of JFK got cancelled and they rebooked us to an earlier flight while we were on our way from Ireland, and now I see why. Yikes, lucky we are getting out.

One thing I can’t stop thinking about is that Mexico elected a female PhD climate scientist as president, and her approval rating is 75%.

Meanwhile, our fellow Americans elected an anti-intellectual climate denying felonious rapist and traitor, rather than elect a smart, strong woman.

Will people still want to go to these colleges? I don’t intend to push my kid in a particular direction, but if this were their desire no way I’d contribute a dime to the endeavor.
