Because y'all liked the other bot farm I posted about, here's another.
Remember 60-75% of the internet is fake. You're arguing with no one and you're boosting the algorithm towards hate when you do.

i was burnt out on game jams for a long time because it was always about utilizing the entire submission period, and the scope of each game barely fit into that time. the jams got longer, the scope bigger, the fatigue lasting. this time, i just had a game idea and made it, and it was really nice.

And so another keyboard design was born. Say hello to Splinter v2.0 😁🎉. I made this for a friend to be used at work. #electronics #diy #blender #freecad #qmk

I just found out and 💯’ed it today. Had a blast playing it and nice job on the character controller 😁. I love seeing more quality and focus on character controllers. PS: love to all the slimeys :3

Well I suppose I should at least do one post about it.

Our game page is now on Steam, feel free to wishlist or tell your granny about it, but only if it's your jam.

Redirecting...

Yeah, it’s very important to polish the game in the end. I mean, my old 100h prototype were playable before I went back to polish it.. but now it’s actually quite nice 😁

It’s a very good to write things down and process through them. All to avoid feature creep that just adds more complexity. 😅

I must say, I prefer that post feeling over some software jobs I’ve had over the years where we usually confirm our fears after release, haha 😅.

Ahhh yes… the never ending polishing that barely improves anything for the end game. I guess I’m not the only #gamedev struggling with that feeling 😅. What’s your loop polishing like?

I went back to one of my older prototypes and applied some things I’ve learned since last time. A “100h do everything yourself project” as a learning experience and to find out more what I like doing. And I think I’m confident enough to show a bit of what I’ve been up to 😁 #gamedev #indiedev #godot

R66/R68 is probably the culprit of a faked failed device

I finally found out that.. detaching the side board and testing the mouse solved the problem… so after some more testing I decided to remove a fuse/resistor and attaching the board. And all of the sudden all buttons and sensors + wheel worked… mind blowing sad to see this design 😢.

13.07.2025 00:02 — 👍 2    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

After that.. The wheel stopped working all together, but all other buttons worked.. so after 4 hours of testing, taking apart and putting it together I settled with replacing the IR emitter. And it finally worked! Or so I thought until I put it all together again…

Today I found out that the MX Vertical mouse probably have an intentional “break after a certain time fuse/resistor” on its so called side board where the thumb switches sits. Initially the wheel scroll started acting up and led where always red, so I took it apart and cleaned the wheel.

Tech billionaires are obsessed with this dystopian sci-fi novel. The author had no idea. Marc Benioff, Sam Altman, and Reid Hoffman are turning to a decade-old book by a Canadian programmer as they ponder the future of AI.

It's turning into one helluva week

🧠 Quaternions 🤯

3D rotations can be complex, often using quaternions, a challenging but popular concept in game development. Why not simpler Euler angles? What are quaternions? Freya explores these questions in her talk.

Don't lend friends money. Give it to them. If you can't afford to lose that money you shouldn't be lending it, and if they need it then you shouldn't expect them to be able to pay it back.

It doesn't matter if it's 50 bucks or 1,000 dollars, if you hold onto that debt it'll foster resentment.
