It's a good thing we have a multiverse to prevent these kinds of things from causing any sort of a problem during time travel. Paradox, shmaradox when you have a Hilbert Hotel of alternatives to work with.

Image of the wall skull texture from the original post, but after it has been passed through a number of filters that do the best that can be done in recovering an approximation of the original colors from the dithered image, then scaled back to the 512x512, so that each pixel shows up as a 4x4 block.

You know what? No. *Undithers your 8 bit gothic wall skull*

It's so weird when somebody forgets to be a bigot, like, they had to put effort into that? They actually need to focus on hating other people, because if they don't, they forget to? They need better hobbies.

Like, other people, or?

He could always show initiative and demonstrate safety of transit by sailing on one of the tankers himself. Either that works and encourages other vessels to follow, unblocking the route, or it doesn't, and then it unblocks some negotiation options. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I still can't get used to how much that varies state to state.

Why are you saying such hurtful things? I'm still not ready to accept PS2 and GC as retro. 😿

I'm gluten-free, and it still gives me a pause every time. "'Certified GF?' I had no idea being a girlfriend required certification."

Was there a driver update? Thrying to rollback is usually my go-to if something stops working with my multi-display setup.

Almost like not doing anything about Russia annexing Crimea in 2014 sent the wrong message to heads of other overmilitarized nations.

It's like X-COM. You took too long dealing with an emergency, so now you have two.

Ah, the fluffy highwaymen got you. You knew the risks taking these back roads. Now it's your peanuts or your life.

I'm picturing an oddly round and seemingly impractically small door being slammed in Pandora's face, with her standing there a bit confused. "What did he mean by, 'Not again?'"

It's hard to say how things land two decades out. China has its own problems and a line of people wanting to screw things up in a big way. They definitely have an opening for spreading influence, though, no doubt.

And for US, there are paths to more of a EU-like situation, which I'd call a recovery

This looks like it should be delivered with a jet injector.

...

I just realized, I switched from im to sc, and I have an old surplus jet injector. You think I can get it working safely? <_<

In practice, if we were only talking about the blood in the limbs, it wouldn't make a huge difference, and you'd have a net positive. But because it's so much more thermal mass than that, the net result of heating body from outside is a core temperature drop, at least at first.

The problem with heating up from outside isn't the blood that's already in the limbs. It's that your blood vessels open up pretty much right away, and it's all the flesh in the cold limbs that's going to continuously cool the blood circulated in, which means you'll be taking heat out of the core.

Sort of. That's the outcome, but the interaction's a bit more complex. Blood vessels leading to extremities shrink in response to your skin getting cold. That does reduce circulation to the limbs, allowing them to cool faster, but also protecting your core from hypothermia a bit longer.

For when you have a changeling living in the walk-in closet, and you have to interrogate whoever emerges after your roommate goes to get today's outfit before letting them out.

You'd kick the changeling out, but somehow, they always got the rent.

You wrote in haste, but then you stopped to think. You do actually love second person naratives. It's not a mind control at all. You just love it. And on realizing that, you went to drink some water, forgetting to delete the post.

Second book is even better! The entire series is great, but Harrow is just amazing.

When it's large shards like that, you don't necessarily have to go full kintsugi on it. There are several options for binders that are easy to use at home even without prior experience. That said, kintsugi is a good option to both preserve the old memories and the cat's contribution. Options!

Drones like Shaheds used in mass attacks often have no camera at all, or something minimal for terminal guidance, and they move pretty fast, so you won't see much anyways. FPV drones are often used for recon, so they have good cameras and can hover, providing footage like this.

US still has an exit. It's a shit exit, but they can take their toys and go home. Economic and political damage are done, and US is not going to have a chance to fully recover for decades, but it can at least stabilize. For Israel, this looks to be a death spiral. This was so stupid to start.
