Anyway, this is me having a vulnerable moment and casting it out into the ether. It’s been tough (even moreso these last few years with gen AI added to the mix). After doing this for nearly a decade, I still struggle.

It also makes it incredibly difficult for me to post my work online. I wish I were more active but—as silly as it may sound—posting is exhausting for me.

Having GAD coupled with perfectionism means that I unhealthily obsess over details. Unfortunately that makes my work rather stiff and overly detailed (believe me, I’m acutely aware of my weaknesses).

Made the mistake of reading nasty comments about one of my artworks online. I know I need thicker skin but people are so unnecessarily vicious 😕
