I've got a project in the contest but instead of linking, I'd rather say just go support what you see!

Also my pro-move if I'm really nervous is to put on some music SUPER low. They'll never know I'm listening to RPG tavern ambiance and it stops pauses from feeling awkward.
09.01.2025 23:04 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I mean, yeah, but don't be too hard on yourself about it. I would bet they already have some things queued up that they'd like to cover and probably wouldn't mind sharing a list of topics so you have some time to think about them and don't feel so on the spot. I do it for meetings all the time.
09.01.2025 22:56 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Do you feel like you get nervous and don't know what to say or do you just feel like your style of talking about your process
isn't interesting?
To add some additional detail, with the exception of the character model and the boss model, everything shown is made from scratch. So the the combat, effects, city, UI, shop, rain, enemy AI, materials, and abilities. I'm pumped to join a team and make stuff.
09.01.2025 13:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Finished my 3 month #unrealengine cyberpunk ninja prototype and proud of how it turned out. My question for the #gamedev community is, do you ever feel like you're "ready" to apply for a job? How can you tell? I feel like I don't know where the bar is for so many positions, even entry level ones.
09.01.2025 12:58 โ ๐ 8 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Love these designs. They're giving Luigi's Mansion vibes for me.
05.01.2025 04:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Are you using inverse kinematics or blend spaces for the position of the elbow?
05.01.2025 04:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0For #Screenshotsaturday I've got a background piece I've been working on for Nine Card Isle. Currently doing a lighting test to see how it feels before I finish the buildings.

Really beautiful piece, fantastic work.
21.12.2024 13:28 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I'm getting some Diddy Kong Racing vibes and loving it. Was this some of the inspiration?
09.12.2024 22:26 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Happy #Screenshotsaturday to us all. Here's the bear in-game with the color variations that can be unlocked and used. He's just so fluffy. (Project: Nine Card Isle)

Been obsessed with it ever since that Tom Scott video. I'd like to make it part of a small collection of games so while it won't be done soonโข it'll hopefully be high quality.
05.12.2024 22:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Animation setup in Spine for the bear. Shoutout to my brother for the incredible work he did here. (Unfortunately, he's not on bsky)

Color pallets for the bear character in Nine Card Isle. I'll throw up the animation setup as well shortly. Drawing and initial pallet by kokuya who did an incredible job on the characters.

Color test for end-of-round score banners. (Game: Nine Card Isle) The goal is to blend from left to right in the different sets as the score goes higher. (Not a good thing in context of the game)

I know it's not just me that does this but... opening a project I took a break from after working on it for 2 1/2 years straight that was "ALMOST DONE" and running it for the first time.
It's the #gamedev / #indiedev life for me.
Love the art style. Put me down for a follow and wishlist.

Well I super appreciate it, thanks again!
29.11.2024 23:50 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Thanks! And yeah, that's a fair callout; they can definitely be toned down a bit. In your opinion is it the sparks from the laser, the pink burst from the character, or maybe just everything all together?
29.11.2024 21:49 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Deflecting an enemy's laser attack in #UnrealEngine. Taken from a small project I've been working on.

Happy to see you here! By the way, could you post a link to your page here from one of your videos or website so we know this is your official account?
