I would like to have one month without an set-up for an overwrought disaster movie. Just one

That's a question I'm not entirely sure I can answer. This was about baseball and now you're making it a deep thought
There are all kinds of places where you can draw line between criticism of Israel and antisemitism, but "yes, [he/she] is" is on the antisemitism side of that line
BREAK UP ITALY!
(But not literally, because it took a lot of effort to put it together)

My idea has always been the PxP for one of the teams and the analyst from the other. Most PxP guys are versatile enough to do a game for a national audience
South Carolina being among the national leaders in returning production has never ended in an embarrassingly disappointing year
It was intended that way. I was trying to say that it should not be a normal way to live. I realize that for Jewish people, it unfortunately is
(Oregon Trail Generation/High Millennial here--don't call me an Xiennial. I don't usually mind giving younger generations grief when they earn it, but dunking on this seems a little much)
Also, Gen Z experienced a huge inflationary period at a formative age and is looking at another 40+ years of work (and inflation). So, again, are they saying "in this moment" or "how much I think I will need to make when I am at the point when most people want to be successful"?
I think this depends on what you mean by success. Like, I can live in the amount of money I make now, which isn't even Boomer-level. I would consider myself financially secure at $150k - $200k. But if successful means building wealth in a sustainable and inheritable way? Yes, $590k isn't crazy
The obvious answer is to just let South Carolina win, unlike The Citadel and [adjusts glasses] Queens. Sigh. Thisclose to a dynasty to -- whatever we are now. In fifteen years
Also, if you think there was one or even one chief reason for the financial crisis, you are engaging in reductive and probably motivated reasoning
WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THE FINANCIAL CRISIS AGAIN. It was 15+ years ago. Let it go
I know this is impossible for us discuss in this current moment but... People want to do interesting, thoughtful, creative, day to day work. They want to care for each other, and feel like they are contributing to something bigger.
It should be where we start when we think about our communities.
I hear that. In one respect, you're not entirely wrong. I do not understand what it is to be Jewish at this moment in time (or for large stretches of human history). "It should not be normal to live this way" might have been a better way to phrase what I was trying to say
Why are you encouraging her?
Ah. Apologies for the misunderstanding
I think our gun culture exacerbates a problem that exists everywhere. I'm not suggesting it wouldn't still be a problem regardless. There are also some aspects of current American culture that amplify certain hatreds. But I know antisemitism is a broader problem and didn't mean to suggest otherwise
There's nothing I can say that won't get me in trouble, other than "yep"
That's fair as well. But the culture includes the hatred. It's the combination of the two that is particularly corrosive
Which part of it? Antisemitism has been around a long time and has motivated many horrific attacks. I don't dispute that.
The corrosive combination of antisemitism and a culture that is awash in guns and the general glorification of violence? That's relatively new
