I was quite excited about an impending TTRPG crowdfunding campaign, Traveller 5E. I thought it was going to be an update to the existing rules, making them a bit more modern and such. Imagine my disappointment in finding out it’s actually a conversion of the venerable game to use the D&D 5E rules. 😢

May you have much better luck with yours than I did with mine. What I could pry off the baking sheet tasted fine, but I’m expecting I’ll be throwing that sheet out as unrecoverable. Despite a lot of olive oil, the bred is fairly cemented to the sheet. Time to find a better recipe!

I’m not sure if I’m doing this wrong but that was the wettest dough I’ve ever made. Instructions call to knead it manually after a few minutes in the stand mixer. lol, as if! Gonna let it rise now, hoping it somehow improves through the process. 🤞🏻

I’m seated at a window seat at my favorite sandwich shop, watching the food delivery drivers use up not only the handicap parking space but also the blocked out van ramp space next to it. I guess convenience trumps compassion and courtesy. The drivers know they’ll be gone before cops can arrive. 😡😡😡

Ugh. Thanks to the several days of rain, ants are starting to scout the interior of the house presumably for either food or a new place to nest. No trails so far, so traps are only marginally effective. No fun finding crushed ants in towels while drying or crawling around on the bedding.

A picture of a newly installed range (stove+oven). It’s stainless steel with a black glass cooktop, a digital control panel at the top of the front, and a large dark glass window on the pull-down door.

So the new range arrived and was quickly, professionally installed. Sadly, we lost the use of that small drawer to the left, as the fascia of the range extends too far, but we knew that was a risk. We also need to purchase new cookware as our current aluminum pots and pans don’t work with it.
