Yes.

This tragedy and thousands more globally are the direct fault of those terrible choices to ignore and defund science in favor of profits. Because conservatives killed people over the course of many decades rather than in one election does not make them less culpable.

WTH? Of course people and especially children do not deserve to die. But the elections and our choices do matter, a lot. And there are people who made the choices that directly led to many of these senseless deaths. And those same people have been warned about this sort of thing for half a century.
